With business coaching, you reflect on your individual ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. Together, we identify the stumbling blocks that impede your further success and give you one-on-one training to develop your unutilized potential.

Reasons for Coaching

Our diagnostics tools provide more than traditional potential analyses. Based on the research work of one of the world’s leading personality researchers, Prof. Julius Kuhl, we are able to identify and differentiate among more than 120 personality traits. That means we give you a detailed image of the skills and development potential of your employees and job candidates. Decisions impacting the future can be backed up scientifically.

Recruit the right candidates

Gut feeling is an important factor when making recruitment decisions, but it can also be deceiving and ignore relevant aspects, just like certificates and references do. If promising candidates reveal themselves to be unsuitable after being hired, fixing the mistake is painstaking and unpleasant for both parties. Using our diagnostics tools, you put a solid basis beneath your recruitment decisions. They are often also used to complement the assessment center.

Help employees to develop systematically

Programs for personnel development are a dime a dozen. But how do HR officers, trainers, or coaches know exactly where a person truly needs to develop? The scan potential analysis reveals strengths, fields for development, and potential, and shows what really motivates an employee.

Decide promotions with sound reasoning

When an executive leaves the company, their potential successor is usually already on the team and at the ready. Yet who is suitable for the next step in their career? Is there even anyone there? Turning a good worker into a bad manager can be avoided.

People make companies successful.
That is why we focus on the individuality of every single employee. How?

How We Work

Many people stand before career challenges that cost a disproportionate amount of energy or grind things to a halt. With coaching, we support these people with targeted exercises to assess their perception and develop behaviors that let them release their potential and achieve their goals. If there are skills that can be optimized, PAWLIK, a full-service personnel developer, helps close the gaps in a targeted manner, for example, via blended learning or through specific training. This complements and optimizes the coaching in a very beneficial way. Success and job satisfaction increase.

We do this by guiding the coaching participant with tailored exercises and methods. At intervals of two to four weeks, we practice behaviors that the participant can use to make their individual goals achievable. The person or the group test out the things they have learned during the time between. Unresolved tasks are made a subject at the next session. A follow-up conversation is held roughly three months after the coaching ends to enable planning for any further steps.

Our Services

Our coaching methods are based on the goals set by our client. All approaches are derived from recognized psychological theories and can be combined with one another.

Systemic coaching

Different situations and environments shine a light on the different facets of a person. Their behavior depends on how they view their role, how they see their environment, the experiences they have had with different behaviors, and much more. Due to these complex interdependencies, the systemic-coaching participant is observed and developed in their specific professional environment. Our coaches find solutions that match individual personalities and help them in reality. We release hidden resources and put the system in motion.

Psychodynamic coaching

Similar to systemic coaching, psychodynamic coaching involves us advising people in their organizational environment and attempting to improve the communication and collaboration with superiors, colleagues, customers, and suppliers. How it differs is that our approach is not just solution-based, but also gets to the bottom of the current situation’s emergence and background with the coaching participant. With psychoanalytic models and methods, we look at the participant as a person as well as the dynamism within the organization in which they operate. Just understanding these processes and these fields of tension helps the individual. We help them reflect on their behavior and find paths to their goals where they hold the responsibility.

Alongside the professional qualifications and many years of career experience held by our consultants in leadership, sales, and consulting positions, all PAWLIK consultants possess sound knowledge for the application of a Prof. Julius Kuhl potential analysis. We are one of the few consultancies in Germany that are entitled to apply this potential analysis.

Experience, Expertise, and System

Katrin Kiggen

As a manager at a family company and a medium-sized enterprise connected to a corporate group, Katrin Kiggen realized that an individual’s personality is a critical success factor in any organization. She has let these findings and her experience as a systemic and psychodynamic organizational consultant, coach, conflict manager, mediator, and teacher flow into her consulting work at PAWLIK, which she joined in 2017.

„The scan procedure is an alternative to stereotyped thinking and superficial typologies. It recognizes the complexity of people’s personalities with a level of differentiation not seen with other procedures in the market. Based on it, job candidates can be soundly assessed and employees developed in a targeted manner.“
