After two years of highly successful cooperation with Shanghai-headquartered Direct HR Group, PAWLIK is further increasing its commitment to the Chinese market: Direct HR Group is now PAWLIK Asia. The partnership aims to provide support to international companies seeking to strengthen their leadership teams and organizations in China, and highlights PAWLIK’s commitment to serve customers in China with a strong local presence that can count on global reach.

PAWLIK: What can companies expect from PAWLIK's increased presence in China?

Henrik Meyer-Hoeven: We don't want to accompany our customers worldwide in all important markets with just another loose network, but with our own branches with experienced local consultants on-site. This allows us to combine the advantages of our established methods and tools with local cultural competence and content focus as well as implementation expertise.

PAWLIK: Which topics does PAWLIK Asia cover?

Henrik Meyer-Hoeven: PAWLIK Asia's consulting services cover the areas of HR consulting, personnel development, and organizational development. In these three fields, special emphasis is placed on executive search as well as comprehensive consulting for companies for all China-specific leadership challenges, for example through leadership development programs or individual coaching.

PAWLIK: What is currently proving to be particularly relevant with regard to China?

Henrik Meyer-Hoeven: China, like all other countries, is also going through its experience curves and development cycles. In many cases, we are currently working with customers to rethink and redesign their leadership and organizational structures, enabling them to act even more effectively. This is partly a matter of fundamental alignment and positioning of organizational structures, but also of evolving talent requirements and targeted further development of existing employees. Similarly, a lot is currently happening in the Chinese understanding of leadership, and these changing requirements often necessitate a new mindset among managers.
